John Varvatos put out a book on rock photography. The book is a compilation of works by Bob Gruen, Mick Rock among others.
The legendary designer reveals his perspective on how rock and roll music and style have influenced his own designs and fashion worldwide.
Joining him on the panel were Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS and Mick Rock; legendary rock photographer.
Mick was by far the most entertaining of the panel. When he wasn't busy texting on his phone, he was telling tales of taking acid with Syd Barrett before he shot him.

The best part was getting a kiss and a hug from the legend! And I don't mean KISS and Varvatos!

Ellen Von Unwerth's introduction to the world of photography began in front of the lens as a model. She transitioned from model to photographer first by taking reportage style shots of her friends, and while traveling. Her photographs are a pure celebration of provocative femininity.

We were lucky enough to have her present at this opening. And there was woman there that felt the same way but a whole lot more enthusiastically then we.

And then this happened! Completely impromptu! She "needed" her 15 minutes and Ellen gave it to her. Made her night!
